Next stop the Atlantic Ocean!
Just outside of Palm Springs
For years I have dreamed of riding my bike across America and decided, "If not now, when?" On April 24th I will depart from CA and arrive in MA on May 26th. In 33 days I will ride 3,457 miles, averaging 115 miles per day. This will be a challenging ride, and I am motivated by the courage demonstrated by Special Olympic athletes. I am soliciting donations to support them. Click on my "Donate to Special Olympics" link and make a donation today! Please.
way to go daddy-yo!
ReplyDeleteYellow Jersey?
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Jay. I find it's always VERY exciting after months of preparations for an event to finally get started. But, 3700 feet on the first day? They must have thought you'd be strong and ready for it (and apparently they were right). Don't worry about those hotdoggers, after a few days they'll come back to reality.
ReplyDeleteway to go....good luck 2day
ReplyDeleteGlad day #1 went well and that you are on a bike instead of a car. Gas in Bay City has hit $4.17 at the Speedway!!! I had to fill up two vehicles. When did they make gas stations self serve??
ReplyDeleteLeisa
Wow what a start....keep it up....Be careful
ReplyDeleteLooking good in spandex--Being the major biker that I am I had to think for a moment to figure out what "flatted" meant. Keep on truckin!
ReplyDeleteHave fun! Be safe!
ReplyDeleteLeisa - I sincerely appologize that my brother did not have a plan in place for someone to pump your gas all month. Give me a call next time - I'll pump it for you AS LONG AS YOU PAY FOR IT.
ReplyDeleteThanks for supporting and raising awareness for Special Olympics! Livingston County/Area 27 cheers you on!
ReplyDeletehi jay;
